Northern Illinois senior tackle Nabal Jefferson is one of 147 candidates across college football for the 2012 National Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete Awards, presented by Fidelity Investments, as well as being named a semifinalist for the 2012 William V. Campbell Trophy. Only one senior can be nominated by each university for the awards, which represent college football student-athletes who excel on the field and in the classroom.
