Representatives of Athletics Interest (see definition below; more commonly referred to as a "booster") receive annual e-mails reminding them of NCAA rules applicable to their connection with NIU Intercollegiate Athletics. Additionally, the Assistant Athletics Director/Compliance and Student Services speaks to representatives of athletics interest at select Huskie Athletics Support Fund events and at other events as determined by the Director of Athletics. The Huskie Athletic Compliance Office also maintains a representatives' of athletics interest section on the compliance website. This section provides additional education materials and easy access to the rest of the Huskie Athletic Compliance Office website.

Note: Once an individual, independent agency, corporate entity, or other organization is identified as a representative of athletics interest, the person, independent agency, corporate entity, or other organization retains that identity indefinitely.
