Chicago Bulls To Honor Victims Of NIU Tragedy At Upcoming Games

CHICAGO - The Chicago Bulls announced today they will honor the victims of the tragic shooting at Northern Illinois University by wearing NIU t-shirts during their pre-game activities for Wednesday and Friday's game. The Bulls will wear the NIU t-shirts including the Huskies logo when they play the New Jersey Nets on Wednesday as well as the Denver Nuggets at home on Friday. The team will also observe a moment of silence before the national anthem at Friday's game to allow fans to pay their respects. "The NIU tragedy stunned and saddened our entire organization and it is only appropriate that we express our concern for the victims and our solidarity with the entire NIU family in this way," said Steve Schanwald, Chicago Bulls Executive Vice President of Business Operations.
