"Graduation is the ultimate `win' for us when it comes to developing champions in the classroom," said NIU Associate Vice-President and Director of Athletics Jeff Compher. Northern Illinois' 73 student-athlete graduates earned their degrees from six different colleges in 32 different majors. A majority - 44 - graduated from the NIU College of Liberal Arts and Sciences in disciplines ranging from media studies and organizational communications to English, biology, political science and meteorology.
