Week’s Achievements:
Knotek was named to the Northwestern Lakeside Classic All-Tournament Team after playing all 180 minutes of the event at outside back. NIU won the tournament with an unblemished 2-0-0 record. Knotek assisted James Stevenson's game-tying goal against Holy Cross. A team captain, Knotek was a key part of the defense that allowed just one goal and held opponents scoreless for 148:49. Knotek is one class away from earning his business administration degree at NIU with a perfect 4.0 grade point average.

Week’s Achievements:
As the primary setter, Hoffman ran an efficient offense over the week for the Huskies, who went 2-1 and picked up their first win against a Big Ten opponent since 2001. In the three matches, she totaled 83 assists (10.38/set), 17 digs (2.12/set), four blocks (0.50/set), three kills (0.38/set), and two aces (0.25/set). Despite NIU’s school-record 11-0 start coming to an end against Wisconsin last Tuesday, Hoffman racked up 31 assists, five digs, and a block. In Saturday’s sweep of Youngstown State, she totaled 21 assists, four digs, two aces, one block, and one kill. While sweeping Big Ten Iowa on Sunday, she registered 31 assists, eight digs, two blocks, and two kills. The junior history major with a 3.955 grade point average has been an NIU Victory Scholar (3.50 or better GPA) in each of her first two years as a Huskie.
