Dear Huskie Fans,
On behalf of our student-athletes, coaches and administration, thank you for your support of Huskie Athletics.
We experienced the first sellout of Huskie Stadium in nearly a decade at the home opener on September 21 against Eastern Illinois University. Your passion and support of our program played a key role in helping the football program to victory. We need that type of atmosphere to become commonplace! Having all our fans fill Huskie Stadium provides an outstanding home field advantage for the team.
Our student support is a tremendous asset and we need you again to be in your seats early and be loud throughout the game. Kick-off for this Saturday's game is 4:00 P.M. We have a number of great promotions planned for all our fans. To help NIU "Red Out" Huskie Stadium, the first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive a red t-shirt. Also, in recognition of the 50th anniversary of the 1963 National Championship football team, 2,000 commemorative cups will also be given out. The 107th Homecoming game allows us to acknowledge our Huskie greats during the Hall of Fame ceremonies. At halftime, we will recognize the newest members of our Hall of Fame.
The NIU football team is off to a 5-0 start and we need you to help us keep the momentum going. Your support of our football program and student-athletes who represent NIU with pride is invaluable and we are committed to providing you with a game day experience of which you can be proud. We look forward to seeing you at the 107th Homecoming on Saturday, October 12 at 4pm in Huskie Stadium when the Huskies will host the Akron Zips.
Again, thank you for your support of NIU Athletics.

Dear Huskie Season Ticket Holders, Donors and Fans,
On behalf of NIU, the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, and specifically, the Huskie Football program, thank you for your outstanding support at this past weekend's Huskie Football home opener. Huskie Nation certainly showed its dedication to NIU Athletics. You helped achieve the first sell-out in over a decade at Huskie Stadium. The entire staff of NIU Athletics appreciates your passion for Huskie Football.
Unfortunately, in addition to the festive atmosphere, some of you had challenging game day experiences, whether it was long lines, service at the concession stands or accessing the restrooms. Be assured we are committed to providing outstanding customer service and a tremendous game day atmosphere for all of our fans and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced. Please know we are aware of the issues and we will continue to work together to improve our services. Your support of our football program is invaluable and we are committed to providing you with a game day experience of which you can be proud.
We look forward to seeing you at Homecoming on Saturday, October 12 at 4pm in Huskie Stadium when the Huskies will host Akron.
Be Proud. Be NIU.
