Totaled 42 tackles, forced one fumble, recovered a fumble and defended two passes in 2013. Ended his freshman season with 17 tackles, 13 solo, and three tackles for loss. Recorded his first career sack Oct. 13, 2012, against Hudson Valley Community College. Helped lead Windsor High School to an 11-1 record in 2011. Recorded 94 tackles and 4 sacks, while blocking three kicks as a senior. Named the Warriors' Defensive MVP following his senior season. Part of WHS' state semifinal team in 2011 that went 11-1.

Played on both sides of the ball as a senior, helping PRHS advance to the IHSA Class 6A semifinals. Selected as a Freshman/Sophomore All-American in 2010 and 2011 by MaxPreps.com. Named all-conference as a junior and as a sophomore and added all-area recognition his junior season. Part of Prairie Ridge's IHSA Class 6A state title team in 2011. Ranked as the 35th-best recruit in Illinois by 247Sports.com. High school teammate of current Huskie linebacker Sean Folliard.

Set a school record with 16 receptions and four receiving touchdowns against Northern Arizona (11/2/13). Ran back a team-long 64-yard punt return for a touchdown against Valparaiso (8/29/13). Hauled in 30 passes for 429 yards and a touchdown as a true freshman. Garnered first team Blue Division All-Catholic League honors as a senior at St. Rita High School. Caught 44 passes for 640 yards and nine touchdowns in 2011. Helped the Mustangs to the Class 7A semifinals and a 10-3 record during his senior year.

Rushed for 231 yards and two touchdowns on 65 carries. Guided the Warriors to the 2013 Class A state title game. Named to Nebraska's all-state team in baseball in 2013 as an infielder and a pitcher. Set a school record with a 96-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. Broke up eight passes on defense. Named the team captain prior to his senior campaign. Caught 40 passes for 450 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2012 en route to taking home all-area recognition. Returned six kickoffs for touchdowns as a junior. Hauled in 30 passes for 350 yards and a touchdown as a sophomore.

Named one of the Indiana Football Coaches Association's Top 50 players in the state as a senior. Garnered first team all-state honors from the Associated Press, along with Kokomo Tribune all-area and all-Hoosier Conference recognition in 2013. Helped the Blue Devils advance to the Indiana Class 2A championship game in his senior season. Named to the junior all-state team by the IFCA in 2012. Collected all-area and all-conference recognition as a junior. Earned all-area and all-conference honors as a sophomore at Tipton.

Earned second team all-area and all-conference honors following his senior season. Registered 40 tackles, snagged four interceptions and broke up eight passes in 2013. Named third team all-Dade County after the season. Played in the TRU Sports Public vs. Private All-Star Game following his senior season. Caught 25 passes for 325 yards and four touchdowns as a wide receiver in 2013. Ended his junior season with 36 tackles, three interceptions and two fumble recoveries. Posted eight receptions for 95 yards and a touchdown in 2012, in addition to gaining 25 yards and a touchdown on four carries. High school teammate of current Huskie linebacker Bobby Jones IV.

Set a school record in 2013 with 11 receptions in one game. Hauled in 29 passes for 404 yards and two scores in 2012. Garnered all-area and all-conference recognition as a junior. Attempted three passes, completing two - including one for a touchdown - in 2012. A prep teammate of current Huskie linebacker Jamaal Payton.
