2013: Made 25 relief appearances, second-most on the team ... Recorded a 4-3 record, three saves, and a 3.86 ERA over 30.1 innings ... Didn't surrender a run until his sixth appearance of the season, a 6.1 inning stretch ... Earned the win at Akron despite allowing an unearned run in 1.1 innings of relief (March 29) ... Picked up his second win on the strength of two scoreless innings and two strikeouts at Central Michigan (April 7) ... Turned in 7.1 relief innings without an earned run between March 17 at Belmont and April 12 vs. Western Michigan ... Nailed down his first career save vs. Western Michigan (April 12) ... Secured his third win a week later vs. Western Michigan (April 14) ... Earned a 1.2 innings save at UIC (May 1) ... Threw five pitches to pick up his third save vs. Eastern Michigan (May 10) ... Went a career-long 2.2 innings in each of his last two appearances at Ball State (May 18) and vs. Bowling Green (May 22) ... Led all NIU relievers with 17 strikeouts.

2012: Made 12 relief appearances, hurling eight innings ... Did not record a decision on the mound ... Struckout five batters and walked two ... Made season debut at Tennessee, pitching 0.2 innings in game two of doubleheader with a clean sheet (Feb. 18) ... Hurled a season-high 1.2 innings and fanned two versus Akron (March 31) ... The two strikeouts were a season-high ... Pitched in winning efforts versus Arkansas State (March 10), UIC (May 2) and Milwaukee (May 15) ... Also recorded strikeouts versus UWM, UIC and Ball State ... Faced four batters in the ninth inning versus Milwaukee with one strikeout (April 24).

2011: Appeared in 10 games on the mound in freshman season ... Made his season debut March 19 at Southern Illinois ... Posted a 4.09 earned run average in relief duty ... Recorded nine strikeouts and nine walks in 11 innings pitched ... Against conference foe Bowling Green (March 25), struck out three and allowed only one hit in 1.2 innings.

High School: Three-time varsity letterman at St. Rita of Cascia H.S. ... Batted .386 with 56 RBIs, 28 runs, 10 doubles and six home runs ... Also pitched 96.3 innings with a 2.86 ERA and 76 strikeouts with 11-3 record over 14 games as a senior ... helped St. Rita to a runner-up finish in the state championship with a 31-9 record ... Named to second team All-Chicago Catholic League Blue for his junior season ... Hit at a .440 clip with 20 runs, three home runs and 21 RBI in 38 games, and was 5-0, with 39 strikeouts, one save, a 3.87 ERA in 38 innings over 13 games on the mound as part of the Illinois class 4A state runner-up team in 2009 that went 35-7, 11-3 in league play ... As a sophomore, logged 54.1 innings over 13 games, posting a 7-2 mark with three complete games, 65 strikeouts and a 3.09 ERA for a 29-8, 9-5 Mustangs squad.
