2013: Logged a career-high 30.2 innings pitched, making three starts and 19 relief appearances ... Registered a 1-2 record ... Started the Huskies' season opener at Texas Tech (Februrary 15) ... Earned his win in a five-inning start at Murray State, also his last start at NIU (March 13) ... Returned to the bullpen after that start, reeling off nine striaght scoreless appearances over his next eight innings between March 16 at Lipscomb and April 28 vs. Miami ... Threw 4.2 innings of one-run baseball in long relief at Ball State (May 17) ... Ended a string of 11 consecutive seasons with a Badgley on the roster upon his graduation.

2012: Made 23 appearances on the mound, second most on the team ... Touted a team-low 4.24 ERA in 23.1 innings ... Carried a 1-1 record ... Struckout 20 batters and walked 17 during the year ... Sported a 1.68 WHIP (walks plus hits per inning) ... Surrendered two earned runs in first nine appearances (10.2 innings) ... The opened the season with 3.1 scoreless innings in game one of a doubleheader at Tennessee; surrendered one hit and one walk with a strikeout (Feb. 18) ... Pitched one inning at Texas Tech, allowing only one hit (Feb. 25) ... Threw a season-high 53 pitches versus Illinois in 2.1 innnings, striking out and walking two in the process (March 17) ... Earned first win of the season to clinch a series sweep at Miami (Ohio) in 1.1 innings of work (April 15) ... Was a calming force in three innings against Illinois State, surrendering zero runs or hits in NIU's 22-5 loss to Illinois State (April 10) ... Only loss of the season occurred at Bradley, giving up two homeruns in the eighth inning (April 25) ... Hurled a season-high three strikeouts versus the ISU Redbirds (April 10) ... Did not give up a single earned run in his final five appearances of the year against UIC, Central Michigan, Milwaukee and Ball State (3.2 innings), including 2.1 perfect innings to close 2012.

2011: Made 22 appearances on the mound in relief duty ... Posted 0-2 register with a 3.63 ERA ... Recorded 14 strikeouts and 12 walks inn 22.1 innings of relief work ... Hurled two strikeouts against Western Michigan (May 19) and had another two the following day versus the Broncos (May 20) ... Recorded a strikeout in eight straight appearances (April 8-May 20) ... Pitched a season-high 2.1 innings against BYU (Feb. 26) ... Recorded losses versus Aurora (March 30) and in the Mid-American Conference Tournament versus Eastern Michigan (May 27).

2010: Did not play due to injury.

2009: Threw 15.2 innings in nine appearances with one start, compiling 13 strikeouts and 13 walks with a 10.34 ERA and a 1-0 record ... Made his collegiate debut vs. North Florida (2/22), giving up a run and tallying a strikeout in one inning ... Struck out the side in an appearance against Kent State (3/4) ... Threw two innings and closed out the Huskies' 14-3 home opener win vs. Buffalo (3/20) ... Gave up an unearned run and struck out three over two relief innings at Kent State (4/4) ... Earned his first collegiate win in his first collegiate start vs. Chicago State, striking out three and allowing two runs over five innings (4/15). High School: Two-time first team all-conference and all-area selection ... First team All-Fox Valley Conference, first team all-area and was named team MVP and captain as a junior ... Helped lead team to regional championship during his junior season ... Ranked by Prep Baseball Report as Illinois' No. 32 prospect ... Went 10-2 with a 1.36 ERA, completed six of his 12 starts and fanned 107 while yielding just 30 hits in 72 innings, and hit .402 with three home runs and 26 RBI in his junior year ... Earned first team all-conference and second-team all-area accolades in addition to being named team's Most Improved Player as a sophomore ... Posted a 5-0 record and 2.00 ERA with two complete games in seven starts while striking out 82 in 50 innings with 22 hits allowed, and batted .407 with three home runs and 26 RBI during his sophomore campaign ... Hit .512 with five home runs as a freshman.
