2014 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Played in 51 games with 50 starts on the season, appearing in the infield, outfield and as a catcher Amassed a .257 batting average and a .360 on-base percentage (25 walks), the second best clip on the squad Led NIU with a .295 batting average in MAC games with two doubles and triples; led team in runs scored (14) Recorded 11 multiple-hit games, including two games with three hits Third on the team in runs scored with 24 Earned 25 walks on the year, also second-most on the NIU squad Recorded two triples on the year, one on a 2-for-3 day at Eastern Michigan (April 11) and the other on a 2-for-3 day versus Akron (May 10) Scored a season-high three runs, twice, at Bowling Green (March 28) and at EMU (April 11)
2013 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Started 46 of the 47 games he appeared in as a freshman Earned the majority of his starts at third base, but also spent time at second and in the outfield Led the team with his .394 on-base percentage Connected on a double for in his collegiate debut at Texas Tech (Feb. 17) Collected his first pair of walks and RBI in the next game at Nevada (Feb. 23) Recorded the first of 16 multi-hit games during 2013 at Minnesota (March 3) Registered a hit in each game of the three-game set at Southern Illinois (March 8-9) Stole his first bag and smashed an RBI double at Murray State (March 13) Tallied eight hits during a six-game hit streak (March 13-24) Drove in two, scored two, and singled twice at Akron (March 31) Reached base three times and swiped a base at Central Michigan (April 6) Walked thrice and hit and RBI single in his only official at-bat versus Western Michigan (April 14) Tallied 14 hits during a seven-game hit streak (April 19-28) Doubled in a run at Ohio (April 19) Pounded out a season-best four hits, all singles, the next day at Ohio (April 20) Concluded his assault on Ohio pitching with three runs scored on Sunday (April 21) Recorded a triple and scored two runs at Iowa (April 24) Hit a pair of singles on back-to-back days at Miami (April 26-27) Knocked in a season-best three runs on two hits at Toledo (May 3) Hit two doubles versus Eastern Michigan (May 11) Tallied his 16th multi-hit game at UW-Milwaukee (May 14)
LOCKPORT TOWNSHIP HIGH SCHOOL: Participated in football, basketball and baseball at Lockport High School Baseball team won conference championships and finished as regional runner-up in 2010 and 2011 Honorable mention all-conference pick after junior season Batted .319, with 15 stolen bases, nine doubles and 15 RBI in 2011 Recorded five stolen bases and five RBI in 39 at-bats during sophomore year
