High School: Two-time unanimous all-conference first-team selection that helped lead Dakota High School to a pair of regional and conference championships ... In the first regional title that he helped Dakota win, hit the game winning homerun as a freshman starter on the varsity squad ... Also earned a first-team all-area selection as a junior and was a second-team all-area performer as a sophomore, when he led his team with a .444 batting average ... In his junior season, hit .431 with nine doubles and 32 RBI, while stealing 11 bags ... As a two sport athlete, started on the varsity football team for three years and helped Dakota win the state championship in 2007. Personal: Born August 8, 1991 ...
