Also started 11 games in the field with 17 total appearances ... Held a 1-0 record during the season with two saves, 26 strikeouts and 11 walks in 38.2 innings of work ... Had a team low WHIP (walks and hits per innings pitched) of 1.23 ... At the plate batted .292, with 11 RBI, two doubles and a home run ... Recorded a slugging percentage of .396 and an on-base percentage of .346 ... Earned his first collegiate win against Big-10 Champion Illinois in a 2.2 inning outing (March 18) ... Pitched a season-high 5.1 innings versus Eastern Michigan in the Mid-American Conference Tournament, hurling two strikeouts and two walks (May 27) ...
