Earned both, football and baseball letters while attending Rochelle Township ... Earned MVP, first team all-conference and All-Star Game selections in both his junior and senior year ... Posted a record setting 16 homers, batted in 48 runs, hit .467, and was selected to play in the Plainfield All-Star Game junior year ...
