Series With Kent State Moved to Illinois-Chicago Campus

DeKALB, Ill. - Due to unplayable field conditions at Ralph McKinzie Field, Northern Illinois baseball's home-opening series with Mid-American Conference foe Kent State has been moved to Les Miller Field on the campus of the University of Illinois-Chicago. All game times will be in the evening.

Les Miller Field is located in downtown Chicago, adjacent to Interstate 90/94. Admission is free to the general public. This weekend signals the start of conference for all teams around the Mid-American Conference. The Golden Flashes were a College World Series participant in 2012, becoming the first team from the MAC to advance to Omaha since Eastern Michigan in 1976. Admission is free to the general public.

Friday - 5:30 p.m. (or 45 minutes after the conclusion of UIC game)
Saturday - 6 p.m.(or 45 minutes after the conclusion of UIC games)
Sunday - 1 p.m.
