Update-NIU Baseball Canceled And Men's Soccer Postponed Today Due To Snow

DeKalb, Ill. - A pair of Sunday Northern Illinois games have been interrupted by the recent snowstorm that hit the area overnight forcing the baseball contest between the Huskies and Bowling Green Falcons to be canceled and the soccer match between NIU and UW-Milwaukee to be postponed. The Huskies and Panthers were supposed to kick off at 1 p.m. CT, but that has now been postponed and will be played tomorrow at 5 p.m. Following its split with Bowling Green over the weekend, NIU baseball returns to action at home with a pair of midweek games, starting with a 3:05 p.m. CT game against Valparaiso (9-12, 4-2 Horizon League) on Tuesday. The Huskies (10-14, 4-1 Mid-American Conference) will then take on UW-Milwaukee (5-15, 1-2 Horizon League) at 3:05 p.m. on Wednesday as well. Both games will be available on GameTracker and will be broadcast on internet radio only through Huskie All-Access on www.niuhuskies.com.
