WESTFIELD, Ind. - Due to rain and snow showers in the Indianapolis area, game two of the Northern Illinois-Bowling Green series at Grand Park has been postponed. The Huskies and Falcons will close the series tomorrow and play a doubleheader Sunday, starting at 11 a.m. Central.

NIU took game one of the series Friday night, posting its second shutout of the season, 9-0. The Huskies recorded 10 hits in the affair and an on-base percentage of .422 in the contest, with Brandon Mallder pacing the squad as he reached base in all five appearances with four RBI. Anthony Andres, Dirk Ormsby and Justin Ruckman combined for the shutout, the first of Ormsby’s and Ruckman’s career while Andres posted his second of the season.

Tomorrow’s doubleheader will begin at 11 a.m. Central at Grand Park in Westfield, Ind. The Huskies will look to clinch its first series of the season and its first over the Falcons since 2010. Alex Klonowski will start game one of the doubleheader while Eli Anderson will close the series in game two.
