Sunday's Northern Illinois-Ball State Game Cancelled by Rain

MUNCIE, Ind. - Sunday's Northern Illinois-Ball State series finale was cancelled by rain, marking the first MAC contest that the Huskies have lost to weather this season. NIU swept Saturday's doubleheader at Ball Diamond after Friday's series opener was postponed and leave Ball State with a 23-23 overall record and a 14-9 conference ledger. The Huskies close out the regular season with a four-game home stand beginning Monday at 2 p.m. vs. Northern Iowa. NIU finishes out its MAC schedule with a three-game series Thursday-Saturday vs. Western Michigan at Ralph McKinzie Field. -NIU-
