The Northern Illinois baseball team will host its Top Dawg Baseball Camp Saturday Sept. 15 at Ralph McKinzie Field for grades 9-12, designed to improve players skills and provide feedback to those who want to play collegiate baseball. The camp fee is set at $140 that includes an NIU baseball hat and will run from 9 a.m to 5 p.m. Check-in will begin at 8:30 a.m.

Players will have a chance to work with Northern Illinois baseball coaching staff, along with current and former NIU players, some of which that have professional baseball experience. The camp training format will feature instruction on hitting, fielding, game play, stretching and agility. Information on the college recruiting process will also be discussed.

Campers should bring their own glove, bat, cleats, tennis or turf shoes (to be worn on the football turf and inside the HIT Center) and appropriate practice attire. NIU will provide helmets, baseballs and training tools.
