Deadline Approaching for Huskie Baseball Golf Outing

DeKALB, Ill. - Northern Illinois University baseball would like to invite Huskie fans and alumni to join the team in a day of golf to support the program. The event will take place at The Oak Club in Genoa, Ill., on Friday, Sept. 24, and is slated for a 1 p.m. shotgun start. Single entries are just $135, which include 18 holes of golf in a foursome scramble format, a cart, and tee prize. Individuals without a foursome will be matched up at the prior to start of the event. Hole and special event sponsorships are also available, including closest to the pin, longest putt, longest drive, and lowest team score. The cost for a sponsorship is $150. Registration needs to be completed by Sept. 17. Any questions regarding the event can be directed to assistant coach Ray Napientek by phone at (815) 753-0147 or by e-mail at rnapientek@niu.edu. All proceeds from the event directly benefit the Northern Illinois baseball program.
