DeKALB, Ill. - Northern Illinois Baseball signed Kyle Stroup (Ingleside, Ill./Fox Lake Grant) to a National Letter of Intent to complete its class of fall signees. At the plate, Stroup hit .425, slugged .779 and totaled 13 doubles, five home runs and 28 RBI on 40 hits.
As a sophomore, Stroup won six games and posted a 2.89 ERA. During his freshman season, Stroup notched five victories with a 1.62 ERA.
