"Quick Dribbles" is an offseason Question and Answer series with the current Northern Illinois men's basketball players. In Darion "Jake" Anderson's edition, find out how he describes Xavier Silas' game.

NIUHuskies.com: Who was your favorite NBA player growing up? Who do you model your game after?
Anderson: Michael Jordan is my favorite all-time player. I don't model my game after anyone in particular; I just take pieces of everyone's game to see what's beneficial for me.

NIUHuskies.com: When you aren't playing basketball or studying, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Anderson: Other than listening to music, just being around my family and friends.

NIUHuskies.com: What is in your iPod right now?
Anderson: Everything! I love to listen to The LOX.

NIUHuskies.com: There are a total of five Chicago natives on NIU's team this season. Is there a sense of pride when representing the Windy City among those guys?
Anderson: Definitely! You always want to represent where you come from. Chicago has so much basketball history, and I want build on that history, and continue it.

NIUHuskies.com: Huskie fans are undoubtedly looking forward to seeing Xavier Silas play next season. From what you've seen in practice, how would you describe his game?
Anderson: Xavier is an offensive threat that can score from almost anywhere on the floor.

NIUHuskies.com: What is one thing the Huskie fan base doesn't know about Darion "Jake" Anderson?
Anderson: I watch cartoons everyday.
