NIUHuskies.com: What was the biggest area of your game that you worked on during your redshirt transfer year?
Kowal: I really focused on developing my mid-range game.
NIUHuskies.com: Outside of being a big target out on the basketball floor, what is the biggest advantage to being 6-foot-11?
Kowal: I can easily put the star on top of the Christmas tree.
NIUHuskies.com: What sort of chemistry did you and Xavier Silas develop in your one season at Colorado that will help you when he is eligible to play next season?
Kowal: We know each other's every move, and that will be an advantage for us, particularly early in the season.
NIUHuskies.com: Since there isn't an NBA team in St. Louis, which team do you root for?
Kowal: I'm a Dallas Mavericks fan.
NIUHuskies.com: What is one thing the Huskie fan base doesn't know about Sean Kowal?
Kowal: That I love country music.
