DeKalb, Ill. - The Northern Illinois Athletics Department announced on Wednesday that the Chicago Matadors will be performing at halftime of Saturday's 1 p.m. men's basketball contest between the Huskies and Lamar at the NIU Convocation Center.
The Matadors, who have been performing at Chicago Bulls games since 2003, are known for their entertaining and comedic dance routines and thunderous crowd chants. When not performing, these oversized comedians take their seats behind the baskets to entertain their fans.
Good seats are still available for this game. All upper bowl seats are FREE to the public, courtesy of Resource Bank. To get your tickets, call the NIU Convocation Center at 815-753-6800.
