How Do I Get There?


By Air

Affordable flights are available from Chicago into Boise Air Terminal.  America West/US Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Frontier Airlines, United Airlines, Northwest Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Horizon Air, and Alaska Airlines all fly into Boise.  For more detailed information on flights, click HERE. By Car

For Students Only


Tickets

Tickets are free for current NIU students.  To pick up a ticket, students must go the Convocation Center Ticket Office (M-F, 9-5 PM), show their ID and receive a ticket.  Each student will only be able to pick up one ticket.

Travel

A ground only package is being offered through the Student Involvement & Leadership Development office for just $20 per student.  This includes a double occupancy hotel room for Dec. 17 & 18 at the Residence Inn in Boise, a ticket to the game, breakfast, and a shuttle to and from the stadium on game day.  To order your package, you must go in person to the Convocation Center and show your ID.  For questions, call 815-753-6505.

 

Where Do I Stay?


The official team hotel is the DoubleTree Riverside Hotel.  To make your reservation fans can call the DoubleTree Riverside at 208.343.1871 or click HERE.  The official band & spirit hotel for NIU is The Courtyard by Marriott.  To make a reservation at the Courtyard, call 208.331.3896 or logon to www.marriott.com.

 

Tickets


How much are tickets and where can I purchase them?

Tickets are $25 per person and are available through the NIU ticket office at (815) 752-6800 or online HERE

If you are unable to attend the game, but still want to support the Huskies in their bowl efforts, you can purchase tickets for $25 that will be donated to a local charity.

Where is the NIU section?

Fans who purchase tickets through the NIU Ticket Office will be located in the NIU Section.  That section has not been determined yet.  Please check back as we get more information we will update this page.  Click HERE for a diagram of Bronco Stadium.

How will actual ticket locations for NIU fans be determined/allocated? 

Of the tickets given to NIU, the HASF loyalty point system will be used to determine how the tickets are allocated to Huskie fans. For more information about the loyalty point system, please visit http://niuhuskies.cstv.com/support-groups/hasf-loyalty-points.html .  All orders received prior to noon on Thursday, Dec. 9th by 9:00 am will be included in the first round of allocations.  

How may I pick-up tickets I purchase?

Due to the quick turnaround time with tickets, no tickets will be mailed.  Tickets may be picked up at the Convocation Center Ticket Office (open M-F 9-5) starting Thursday, Dec. 9th at 3:00 pm. The ticket office will be open on Saturday, Dec. 11 from 3 pm - 6 pm and also on Sunday, Dec. 12 from 7 am - 4 pm (during commencement).  Beginning on Wednesday, Dec. 15, tickets will be available for pick up at the team hotel in Boise.

Is There a Fan Package


The Athletics Department is not having an official fan package due to the timing and distance.  However, below are the steps you would need to follow to create your own fan package.  This will allow you the maximum flexibility with your travel arrangements.

1. Find transportation to Boise. 

2. Book your hotel room.  The official team hotel is the DoubleTree Riverside Hotel.  To make your reservation fans can call the DoubleTree Riverside at 208.344.1079 or logon to www.doubletree.com/boise.  A complimentary shuttle service will be running from every hotel in Boise to Bronco stadium on game day.

3. Purchase your game tickets.  Tickets are $25 per person and are available through the NIU ticket office at (815) 752-6800 or online HERE.

4. Reserve your spot at the pre-game tailgate.  The NIU Alumni Association will be sponsoring a pre-game tailgate from 11:00 - 1:00 PM.  Tickets to the tailgate are $30 per person.  To reserve your spot, click HERE or call the Alumni Association at 815-753-1452.

5. Enjoy the game!

What time do gates open to Bronco Stadium?

Information on Bronco Stadium gate openings will be available soon.

Where do I park for the game?

The parking lots surrounding Bronco Stadium will be occupied by official, team and RV parking.  There is no remaining stadium parking available.  Most fans park on the streets or off site lots surrounding the stadium.  RV "Tailgate" parking will be available in the wstadium parking lots to the first 86 RVs.  The cost is $50 per RV and includes 1 ½  parking spaces.  To reserve a parking space call Boise State Parking and Transportation Services at 208.426.7275.

The game will be televised nationally on ESPN.  

What events are going on surrounding the bowl game?

I cannot make the game, but want to watch with other Huskie fans.  Are there watch parties?

The NIU Alumni Association will host watch parties around the country to give our alumni a chance to gather and root on their alma mater. All watch parties begin one hour prior to kick off.   For complete information on all watch parties, click HERE
