2008: Appeared in the Indiana State, Eastern Michigan and Toledo contests and caught passes versus ISU and EMU. Made two catches for 22 yards on the season, including a 17-yard grab versus Indiana State. Caught a five-yard pass in the Eastern Michigan game.
2007: Played in 12 games, primarily as a kick returner and on special teams. Started at wide receiver vs. Wisconsin (10-20) and caught three passes for 26 yards on the season. Led the team with 18.8 yards per kickoff return as he returned 12 kicks for 182 yards on the year. Ranked third on the team with 514 all-purpose yards, behind only Justin Anderson and Matt Simon. Reached the 100 yard mark in returns twice. Recorded a season-high 116 return yards on six kickoff returns against Navy (11-17). Returned four kickoffs for 100 yards, including a season-long 37-yard effort at Wisconsin (10-20). Caught the first touchdown pass of his career on a 23-yard throw from Ryan Morris against Ball State (11-24). Also returned five kickoffs for 84 yards, including a 32-yard burst, in that game. Returned NIU's first kickoff of the season 30 yards in the season-opener vs. Iowa (9-1). Had two kickoff returns for 29 yards against SIU (9-8). Returned two kickoffs, one for 22 yards, against Western Michigan (10-13). Also caught two passes for three yards in that game. Totaled three kickoff returns for 56 yards at Toledo (10-27).
2006: Played in eight contests, including bowl game. Served as reserve wide receiver and on special teams. Had one tackle during the season with a stop on special teams at Western Michigan (10-14).
2005: Appeared in three games. Caught two passes for 24 yards. Both catches, including a 22-yarder, came against Tennessee Tech (9-17). Saw action against Kent State (10-22). Appeared in contest vs. Western Michigan (11-23).
High School: No. 1 rated Class 4A-6A receiver in Dade County as senior. Team captain and MVP, first team Miami Herald Class 4A-6A All-County, and second team all-state as senior. Totaled 46 receptions for 682 yards (14.8 avg.) and seven touchdowns and had two 100-yard receiving games during senior year. Selected for Dade-Broward All-Star Game following senior season. Team captain and MVP, two-time Miami Herald Player of the Week and second team all-county as a junior. Made 26 catches for 603 yards (23.2 avg.) and 10 TDs during junior season. Set school single game records with 234 receiving yards and five TD receptions during junior year. Three-time letterwinner in both football and track. Won District track titles in 110 high hurdles (outdoor), 300 hurdles (indoor), and triple jump during junior year.
