SIGHTS & SOUNDS: NIU Football Releases New Uniforms

It seemed like just another team meeting in the McCareins Room at the Yordon Center Saturday, August 16. Take a look at behind the scenes footage of the Huskies unveiling of their new uniforms on August 16, pranking the team before revealing them.

2014:
Registered 21 tackles as a true freshman. Tied for second on the team with four pass breakups and tied for third with two interceptions. Started his first career game against Presbyterian. Intercepted a pass and posted two tackles, one for a loss, against the Blue Hose. Picked off his second career pass at Western Michigan. Set a career high with five tackles against Bowling Green in the MAC Championship Game. Made four stops against Central Michigan. Started each of the first six games at cornerback for NIU.

High School:

• Compiled 106 tackles, forced four fumbles, recovered five fumbles and intercepted nine passes in three seasons.
• Earned second team all-area and all-conference honors following his senior season.
• Registered 40 tackles, snagged four interceptions and broke up eight passes in 2013.
• Named third team all-Dade County after the season.
• Caught 25 passes for 325 yards and four touchdowns as a wide receiver in 2013.
• Ended his junior season with 36 tackles, three interceptions and two fumble recoveries.
• Posted eight receptions for 95 yards and a touchdown in 2012, in addition to gaining 25 yards and a touchdown on four carries.
