Notched two solo and six assisted tackles in his collegiate debut versus Army (9-3). 2010: Redshirted as a true freshman. High School: An All-Broward County first team selection at linebacker as a senior after making 165 tackles for the Miramar team that won the 6A state title in 2009...tallied 90 solo stops and 75 assists, forced three fumbles and recovered two, and broke up three passes...four-year varsity letterwinner served as team captain as a senior...invited to play in the Dade vs. Broward All-Star Game in Hawaii...credited with 105 tackles, 65 solo, his junior year...forced one fumble, recovered three and broke up two passes...also reached the 100-tackle mark in his sophomore year with 75 solo stops...in his prep career, totaled 450 tackles, 260 total, six forced fumbles, seven fumble recoveries and five pass break-ups...Miramar went 14-1 and won the state title in 2009 and took home the regional crown in 2008 with an 11-3 mark...during Bass' prep career, the Patriots went 43-9...earned the Monsignor Pace 3.0 GPA award in 2007-08.
