Also got into several of those games as a back-up on the PAT/Field Goal unit. Junior College: Earned a varsity letter playing offensive line for Harper College in 2009. The Hawks averaged 253.1 yards of total offense a game with 88.4 yards rushing and 164.7 yards passing. High School: Three-year letterwinner at Marist High School. Helped lead the Red Hawks to a 9-3 record and the Illinois 8A quarterfinals his senior year. Served as team captain as a senior. Named the team's offensive lineman of the year his final year. Earned all-conference and all-area honors in 2008. High school teammate of current Huskie Nabal Jefferson. Personal: Born March 23, 1991 in Chicago, Ill. Son of Bernadette and Frank Battaglia.
