SIGHTS & SOUNDS: NIU Football Releases New Uniforms

It seemed like just another team meeting in the McCareins Room at the Yordon Center Saturday, August 16. Take a look at behind the scenes footage of the Huskies unveiling of their new uniforms on August 16, pranking the team before revealing them.

2014
Has 22 tackles on the year as a key reserve on NIU's defensive line. Ranks third on the team with 3.0 sacks and sixth with 5.0 tackles for loss. Combined for nine tackles and 2.5 sacks in the last two contests. Tallied all five TFLs since Oct. 11. Set season-highs in tackles (5) and sacks (1.5) in the MAC Championship Game against Bowling Green. Credited with four tackles and a sack at Western Michigan. Intercepted a tipped ball at Ball State, which helped set up the game-clinching touchdown for NIU. Registered four solo stops against Toledo.

Prior to NIU

• Earned first team All-Northeast Football Conference honors as a sophomore at Monroe College (N.Y.).
• Finished with 59 tackles, 17 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks in two seasons at Monroe.
• Led the team in sacks with 8.5 to rank 11th in the NJCAA in 2013.
• Also led the team in tackles for loss with 14.
• Totaled 42 tackles, forced one fumble, recovered a fumble and defended two passes in 2013.
