NIU defeats Northwestern, 23-15

The Huskies played a dominant second-half of football in Evanston to defeat the Wildcats, 23-15.

It seemed like just another team meeting in the McCareins Room at the Yordon Center Saturday, August 16. Take a look at behind the scenes footage of the Huskies unveiling of their new uniforms on August 16, pranking the team before revealing them.

Prior to NIU
• Earned first team All-Northeast Football Conference honors as a sophomore at Monroe College (N.Y.).
• Finished with 59 tackles, 17 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks in two seasons at Monroe.
• Led the team in sacks with 8.5 to rank 11th in the NJCAA in 2013.
• Also led the team in tackles for loss with 14.
• Totaled 42 tackles, forced one fumble, recovered a fumble and defended two passes in 2013.
• Ended his freshman season with 17 tackles, 13 solo, and three tackles for loss.

High School
• Recorded 94 tackles and four sacks as a senior.
• Also blocked three kicks.
• Named the Warriors' Defensive MVP following his senior season.
• Part of WHS' state semifinal team in 2011 that went 11-1.
