2005: Started 10 of 11 games played, eight at weakside linebacker and two at middle position. Ranked third on team with 95 tackles, including 57 solo stops, in 11 games. Had four tackles for loss, one interception, and one fumble recovery. Added four pass deflections and one quarterback pressure. Totaled 711 plays on defense and eight on special teams. Registered nine tackles against Northwestern (9-10-05). Had tackle for loss among six stops versus Tennessee Tech (9-17-05). Racked up nine hits against Akron (9-24-05). Tied for team-lead with 10 tackles and intercepted pass against Miami (Ohio) (10-5-05). Team's co-leader with 11 stops, including one for loss, versus Eastern Michigan (10-15-05). Named First-Team All-Upstate Eight Conference, Special Mention Chicago Sun-Times All-Area, First-Team Elgin Courier-News All-Area, and First-Team Daily Herald Fox Valley All-Area as senior for coach Dale Schabert (2001). Recorded 82 overall stops, three fumble recoveries and fumble-cause hits, and 12 tackles for loss in final season. Lettered in football (3).
