2012:Started all seven games at right tackle for the Huskies in 2012... Helped NIU average 455.6 yards of total offense per game this season, ranking 33rd in the country... Huskie offense leads the MAC and ranks 12th in the nation in rushing offense with 241.9 yards per game... NIU also leads the conference and ranks 29th nationally in scoring offense with 36.9 points per game... Paved the way for Northern's season-high 622 yards of total offense against Central Michigan (9-29)... Part of offensive line that has only given up eight sacks this season... Allowed NIU offense to pile up 36 plays of 25 yards or longer through seven games.

2011: Saw action in 11 games during the season, primarily on the PAT/FG unit. Also took snaps as a second-team offensive tackle.

2010: Redshirted in his first season at NIU.

High School: Three-year varsity letterwinner and all-area first team selection at offensive tackle as a senior. Named second team all-conference as a senior and third team as a junior. Served as team captain as a senior. Helped lead St. Charles North to an 8-4 record his senior season after the North Stars went 6-4 his junior year. As a member of the varsity squad as a sophomore, helped his team post a 5-1 record in Upstate Eight Conference play en route to a 7-2 season record. Earned a Prairie State Achievement Award in spring 2010.

Personal: Born July 22, 1992 in Chicago, Ill. Son of Stacey and Kevin Brown. Organizational business major. His older brother, Patrick, was a four-year starter at the University of Central Florida who spent last season on the practice squad with the Minnesota Vikings.
