2011: Saw action in 11 games during the season, primarily on the PAT/FG unit. Also took snaps as a second-team offensive tackle.

2010: Redshirted in his first season at NIU.

High School: Three-year varsity letterwinner and all-area first team selection at offensive tackle as a senior. Named second team all-conference as a senior and third team as a junior. Served as team captain as a senior. Helped lead St. Charles North to an 8-4 record his senior season after the North Stars went 6-4 his junior year. As a member of the varsity squad as a sophomore, helped his team post a 5-1 record in Upstate Eight Conference play en route to a 7-2 season record. Earned a Prairie State Achievement Award in spring 2010.

Personal: Born July 22, 1992 in Chicago, Ill. Son of Stacey and Kevin Brown. Organizational business major. His older brother, Patrick, was a four-year starter at the University of Central Florida who spent last season on the practice squad with the Minnesota Vikings.
