Kansas native Adam Clark is in his third season at Northern Illinois where he was recently promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Football Operations, taking care of a myriad of duties for head coach Jerry Kill and every member of the Huskie program. In his first two years at NIU, Clark has handled the logistics for Northern Illinois' bowl trips to the Independence Bowl in Shreveport, La. (2008) and the International Bowl in Toronto, Canada (2010). Clark is responsible for team travel and meals, game day operations, lettermen correspondence, and a myriad of other organizational and operational assignments. He also assists recruiting coordinator Jeff Phelps and is a liaison with the Huskie football equipment, compliance and media relations offices. During the summer months, Clark coordinates the Huskie Football Camps. Clark began his career in 2005 at Texas A&M University, where he served as assistant to the director of football operations. While working with Aggie Football he supervised team meals, buses, hotels, and practice security, and helped the team on its trips to the 2006 Pacific Life Holiday Bowl and the 2007 Valero Alamo Bowl. Clark graduated from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in business management. While at PSU he played on the Gorillas' baseball team for two seasons. Prior to his stint in College Station, Clark resided in his hometown of Frontenac, Kansas. He and his wife, Vanessa, were married this past July. ABOUT CLARK Experience College |
