2011: Did not see action in any games for the Huskies.

2010: Redshirted as a true freshman.

High School: Three-year varsity letterwinner played linebacker, defensive end and offensive line for the Hoyas. First-team All-Cobb County linebacker as a senior and made the second team all-county squad his junior year. Team captain as a senior. Named team MVP in two games and picked up Defensive Player of the Game honors twice his senior season. Recorded a team-leading 112 tackles, 58 solo, with three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and one interception as a senior. Broke up four passes and had eight tackles for loss. His junior year, led the county in tackles per game with 130 stops in 12 games, including 62 solo. Made seven tackles for loss, had one sack and one interception as a junior. Named the Cobb County Touchdown Club Defensive Player of the Week versus state finalist Peachtree Ridge his junior year. His high school team went 9-3 and were the conference runners-up in 2007 and 2008. Played in both the Cobb County Senior Bowl (linebacker) and in the Georgia North-South All-Star Football Classic (offensive line) following his senior season. Was Harrison's male recipient of the Vincent J. Dooley Award, Honoring Athletes and Role Models of Excellence. Graduated with honors and volunteered at a community special needs park. Also threw the shot put and discus for the track and field team.
