2008: Ranked second on the team with 4.8 yards per carry. Played in all 13 games with one start as part of a multiple tailback rushing attack. Totaled 208 yards on 43 rushes with one touchdown. Compiled career-highs of 55 yards and 13 carries against Navy (11-25), and ran for 49 yards on 11 attempts one week prior at Kent State (11-18). Returned four kickoffs for a total of 79 yards against the Midshipmen. Made a career-long dash of 40 yards for a touchdown on his lone carry at Ball State (11-5). Carried the ball six times for 22 yards at Western Michigan (9-6), and added 24 yards on three carries versus Indiana State (9-20). Led the Huskies in kickoff return average with 26.8 yards per return. Racked up 375 KOR yards on 14 tries, including a team and career-long 75-yard return against Central Michigan (11-12) that set up the Huskies' first score of the game. Had five kickoff returns for 180 yards against the Chippewas, and was named NIU Special Teams Player of the Week after that contest. Made two catches for 30 yards, both in the season opener at Minnesota (8-30).

2007: Played eight games, mostly on the kickoff coverage team, before a broken leg sidelined him for the season. Injured on the opening kickoff at Wisconsin (10-20). Credited with five tackles on the year. Rushed five times for 20 yards at Idaho (9-22). Had one carry in both the Temple (10-13) and Western Michigan (10-20) games.
2006: Redshirted.

High School: Named team captain and MVP, Kiwanis Award recipient, first team All-Southern Indiana Athletic Conference, first team All-City and Downtown Quarterback Club's Outstanding Player, first team Evansville Courier & Press All-Metro Team Player of the Year, first team Indiana Football Coaches Association Region 9, and first team Associated Press Class 5A All-State as a senior. State Class 5A Player of the Year by High School Sports Publications after rushing for a school-record 2,478 yards and 33 touchdowns on 11-2 league, city, and sectional champions. Set school career marks with 6,356 rushing yards and 83 TDs. Produced three of top five rushing campaigns in school history and three of top four RHS single-season rushing touchdown totals. Starter all four years for four-time city champions. Lettered four times in football and track. Three-year state qualifier in the high jump. Won city high jump title with 6-foot-5 effort as a junior. Cum laude Honor Roll student.
