Made three tackles, all solo, as a starting cornerback in the season opener at Iowa State (9-2). Recorded four tackles, three solo, against North Dakota (9-11). Tallied two tackles, both solo, against Toledo (11-9). Credited with five tackles, two solo, at Eastern Michigan (11-26). Versus Buffalo (10-16), had half a tackle for loss for minus seven yards and broke up a pass. Totaled three tackles, two solo against Miami (Ohio) in the 2010 MAC Championship game (12-3). 2009: Totaled 28 tackles, including 17 unassisted, with three pass breakups while serving as primary back-up at the cornerback position. Played in every game, starting against Wisconsin (9-5). Compiled a season-high five tackles against Wisconsin (9-5), including three solo stops and one tackle for loss. Made a season-high four solo tackles against Western Michigan (10-3) and added an interception that led to an NIU touchdown. Forced a fumble which the Huskies recovered in NIU's win at Purdue (9-19). Made four tackles each against Western Illinois (9-12) and Central Michigan (11-27). Recorded one tackle and two pass breakups against Akron (10-31). Tallied three tackles, including an unassisted stop, in games against Miami (10-24) and Ball State (11-12). Also had a pass breakup against the Cardinals. Totaled at least one tackle in 11 games. 2008: Saw action in all 13 games as a reserve cornerback and safety. Totaled nine stops, five solo. Made a career-best three tackles, two unassisted, in the Western Michigan game (9-6). Recovered a Bowling Green (10-25) fumble on the Falcons' desperation kickoff return with eight seconds left in the game. Totaled two stops in the season-opener at Minnesota (9-30). Had one tackle each against Indiana State (9-20), Toledo (10-18), and Kent State (11-18). Before NIU: Recorded 48 tackles (26 solo) at Highland Junior College in Highland, Kansas as a freshman. High School: Osceola News-Gazette's Player of the Year led the county with 122 tackles and added three interceptions. Received Orlando Sentinel All-State honors and played in the Central Florida High School East vs. West All-Star Game. Earned third team all-state recognition as a junior.
