Former players and coaches met at FontaineBleau as well. Played 39 games over three seasons and made 152 tackles, 95 solo at NIU. Broke up 14 passes and intercepted three while playing both cornerback and safety. Also recovered four fumbles. 2012: Fourth on the team with 77 tackles and his 49 solo stops ranked third. Recovered three fumbles, including one in the Orange Bowl game, to lead NIU. Tied for second with two interceptions and fifth in pass break-ups with five. Made at least three tackles in 13 of the Huskies' 14 games in 2012. Sealed NIU's double-overtime MAC Championship win over Kent State (11-30) with a fourth down interception in the endzone. Also recorded six tackles, four solo, against the Golden Flashes. In addition to the fumble recovery, registered four tackles versus Florida State. Tied his career high with 10 tackles at Ball State (10-6), which included a tackle for loss on third-and-goal from the NIU one-yard line that forced the Cardinals to settle for a field goal. Recovered a fumble on BSU's opening drive to stop the Cardinals at the NIU 36. Made nine tackles versus Western Michigan (10-27). Intercepted a pass at Akron (10-20), returning the pick 21 yards and turning away the Zips in NIU territory. Paced the Huskie defense with seven tackles against UA. Had six tackles and knocked down a pass versus Toledo (11-14). Fell on a fumble against UMass (11-3) to stop the Minutemen in NIU territory, in addition to registering two tackles. Made three solo tackles and broke up two passes versus Kansas (9-22). Also had three solo stops and a pass break up at Soldier Field against Iowa (9-1). Led the defensive backfield with seven tackles against Buffalo (10-13). Recorded five tackles each against UT Martin (9-8), Army (9-15), Central Michigan (9-29) and Eastern Michigan (11-23). Moved to cornerback after playing safety in 2011. 2011: Played in every game and started seven at free safety. Ranked eighth on the team with 55 tackles and his 33 solo stops were sixth among Huskie defenders. Intercepted one pass, broke up five and recovered a fumble. Recorded 29 tackles in the first four games of the season. Set his career-high with a team-leading 10 tackles, eight solo, at Kansas (9-10). Earned his first career fumble recovery against Army (9-3), which led to NIU's fourth touchdown. Grabbed his first career interception versus Western Michigan (10-15) and returned it 29 yards. Registered nine tackles at Toledo (11-1). Tallied seven solo stops versus Wisconsin (9-17) to tie for the team lead. Made seven tackles in both the Cal Poly (9-24) and Buffalo (10-22) games. Registered a pass breakup in four straight games to start MAC play. 2010: In his first season with the Huskies, saw action in 11 games as a second team safety. Missed the North Dakota (9-11), Illinois (9-18) and Minnesota (9-25) games due to an injury. Made 20 tackles on the season and broke up three passes to rank fourth on the team. Tallied two tackles in his first game as a Huskie in the season opener at Iowa State (9-2). His quarterback hurry on Western Michigan's final drive forced Alex Carder to throw an interception to Jake Coffman to seal NIU's 28-21 victory (10-30). Had a career-high nine stops, including six solo, versus Fresno State in the 2010 Humanitarian Bowl (12-18). Totaled a pair of solo stops and broke up a pass in the MAC Championship game versus Miami (12-3). Also batted down a pass at Eastern Michigan (11-26) and versus Toledo (11-9). Had a pair of tackles versus Central Michigan (10-23) and one each in the Akron (10-2), Buffalo (10-16) Toledo (11-9), WMU and Ball State (11-20) games. Enrolled at NIU for the Spring 2010 semester and was on campus for spring drills. Junior College: Recorded five tackles, two interceptions, forced two fumbles and recovered two fumbles for Coffeyville Junior College. Helped the Red Ravens win the North Star Bowl and finish the season with a 7-4 overall record, 5-2 in the Jayhawk Conference. In one year at Coffeyville, racked up 51 total tackles with 17 solo tackles, 34 assists, and 1.5 tackles for loss. Played in 10 games. Picked off a pair of passes and returned them for 30 yards. Coffeyville posted a 7-4 record in his one season there, including a 5-2 mark in the Jayhawk Conference. Team won the North Star Bowl. Earned Coffeyville's Ethean Johnson Memorial Award, presented to a player that has great moral character and demonstrates an outstanding pride in being a Raven.
