NIU Football 2014 New Home Uniforms

On August 16, the NIU Football team got its first look at their new home uniforms.

Earned MAC West Defensive Player of the Week honors after making eight tackles with his ninth career interception and a fumble recovery at WMU. Picked off two passes and had five tackles in the MAC Championship Game vs. Bowling Green. Has career-high 78 tackles to rank third on the team. Came up with six stops at Ohio. Led NIU with eight tackles, all solo, vs. Toledo. Made eight stops in four games this year, including at Arkansas. Recorded an INT at Eastern Michigan. Has a pair of pass break ups. Registered seven stops vs. Northwestern, six solo, and Central Michigan. Had a half tackle for loss and broke up a pass in NIU's win at UNLV when he was named the Defensive Skill Player of the Week. One of two current Huskies with more than 200 career tackles (229).


• Third team all-MAC honoree.
• Ranked sixth on the team in tackles with 55, including 31 solo stops.
• Second on the team with three interceptions.
• Picked off a pair of passes at Purdue (9-28), returning one for 50 yards, for his first-career two-interception game.
• Earned NIU Defensive Skill Player of the Week honors for his performance against the Boilermakers.
• Returned an interception 22 yards to go along with eight tackles at Iowa (8-31) to earn Co-Defensive Skill Player of the Week honors.
