NIU defeats Iowa, 30-27

NIU rallied for a 30-27 victory over Iowa Saturday.

Has 12 tackles and an assisted tackle for loss in 11 games as a redshirt senior. Notched a season-high three tackles at Arkansas. Posted an assisted TFL at Eastern Michigan. Opened the season with two stops against Presbyterian. Also tallied two tackles against Central Michigan and Ball State. Credited with one tackle each against Eastern Michigan, Ohio and Bowling Green.


• Appeared in 13 games and started six as part of the defensive line rotation.
• Recorded 23 total tackles, seven solo.
• Made a season-high six tackles at Massachusetts (11-2).
• Recorded two tackles and a half tackle for loss against Utah State (12-6).

• Posted 21 tackles, one sack and 2.5 tackles for loss in 14 games.
• Made nine tackles in a four-game span from Sept. 15 to Oct. 6.
• Credited with a season-high four tackles, including his first career sack, against Massachusetts (11-3).
• Tied his season high with four stops against Eastern Michigan (11-23).
• Finished the year with three tackles against Florida State (1-1) in the Orange Bowl.
