NIU arrives in Miami

The Huskies arrive in Miami

2012: Earned his first career playing time with action in five games. Made four tackles with two tackles for loss and half a sack. Recorded solo tackles versus UT Martin (9-8) and Central Michigan (9-29) with a tackle for loss of four yards in the UTM game. His half sack came versus EMU (11-23). Credited with a half tackle for loss versus Buffalo (10-13). Also played in the UMass game.

2011: Did not see any game action during the season. Named the Offensive Work Team Player of the Week after the Wisconsin (9-17) and Buffalo (10-22) games.

2010: Did not see any action in his first season with the Huskies. Named NIU's work team player of the week versus North Dakota (9-11) and Akron (10-2). Joined the Northern Illinois team in January 2010 and went through spring practice.

High School: Varsity letterwinner his senior season was named the team's defensive lineman of the year. Helped Oak Park/River Forest to a second-place conference finish as a junior.

Personal: Born Feb. 27, 1990. Son of Dan and Linda Green. Earned his undergraduate degree in marketing in May with a 3.09 GPA and is pursuing his master's in sport management. Earned Huskie Scholar honors. Enjoys going to church and officiating basketball. Admires Ray Lewis.
