Nate Griffin enters his second season as a graduate assistant for the Huskies. Griffin is the primary video coordinator for Northern Illinois, and brings considerable technical and computer expertise to the NIU football program. Prior to arriving in DeKalb, Griffin was an offensive graduate assistant at Northern Colorado. With the Bears, Griffin assisted with wide receivers, was in charge of video coordination, and was responsible for volunteers. Griffin studied communication at the University of Idaho, where he played fullback for three seasons, lettering in 2000. He completed his bachelor's degree at Idaho in 2004. Born in Ft. Collins, Colo., the Wellington, Colo. native graduated from Poudre High School and now lives in DeKalb with his wife, Amy. He is pursuing a master's degree in communications at NIU. |
