Totaled five tackles on the season, including two solo stops. Had a career-high two tackles against Idaho (9-26). Made one tackle each in games against Western Michigan (10-3), Miami (10-24), and Eastern Michigan (11-5). Also saw time against Wisconsin (9-5), Western Illinois (9-12), Toledo (10-17), Akron (10-31), Ohio (11-21) and Central Michigan (11-27). 2008: Redshirted as a fullback. Moved to linebacker in the spring. High School: Named third team All-Dade County as a senior. Caught 20 passes for 201 yards and three touchdowns to go with four rushes for 32 yards in his final high school season. Named team captain and MVP as a senior. During his junior year, ran the ball 25 times for 140 yards and made 11 catches for 88 yards. Scored nine career touchdowns, five receiving and four rushing. Helped the Explorers to a 12-1 record and a district championship as a senior. Team went 10-1 and won the district title during his sophomore season. Also lettered in basketball and track and field.
