2007: Appeared in five games on special teams. Made his collegiate debut at Central Michigan (9-29). Also saw time at Wisconsin (10-20), at Toledo (10-27), in a win over Kent State (11-10) and vs. Ball State (11-24).

2006: Redshirted.

High School: Team captain and team Hardest Hitter Award recipient, first team All-SICA Orange Conference, and first team Star Newspapers All-Area as a senior. Recorded 85 tackles, 10 sacks, five forced fumbles, and two blocked kicks for 7-3 Class 6A playoff qualifier. Entered senior campaign on Chicago Tribune Area Top 100 players list. All-SICA East and all-area after totaling 70 tackles, three pass deflections, two sacks, and two blocked kicks on 10-2 playoff squad as a junior. Played linebacker, free safety and cornerback. Earned three letters in football and four in track. Ran 100 and 200 meter sprints and was part of 4x100 and 4x200 relays. Honor Roll student.
