2008: Named team's offensive work player of the year. Played in five games as a reserve wide receiver and member of special teams. Made one catch for seven yards in the Eastern Michigan game (9-27). Saw action against Indiana State (9-27), Toledo (10-18), Kent State (11-18), and versus Louisiana Tech (12-28).
2007: Appeared in 10 games, primarily as a back-up wide receiver and on special teams. Caught six passes for 42 yards on the season. Made one start at Wisconsin (10-20). Three of his six catches on the year resulted in first downs. Caught one pass for 13 yards and a first down at Temple (10-6). Made five catches for 29 yards and two first downs at Navy (10-17).
2006: Played in 11 games as reserve receiver and on kickoff return unit. Caught four passes for 68 yards and made one tackle. Made collegiate debut on special teams at Ohio State (9-2). Hauled in first collegiate reception, an eight-yarder, vs. Indiana State (9-23). Caught two passes for 32 yards vs. Toledo (11-7). Had a 28-yard reception in the regular season finale at Eastern Michigan (11-24). Saw action vs. TCU in the Poinsettia Bowl (12-19).
High School: As a senior, selected first team All-North Suburban Conference Lake Division, first team Pioneer Press All-Area, first team Waukegan News-Sun All-County, first team Daily Herald All-Area, first team Chicago Sun-Times All-Area and Class 5A-8A All-State. Earned special mention Champaign News-Gazette All-State honors, and was a second team Chicago Tribune All-State slection while playing for 9-2 league runner-up and Class 8A playoff qualifier. Totaled 39 catches for 798 yards (a 20.5 average) with nine touchdowns during his senior season. Entered his final prep season as one of the Midwest Region "Next 100 Players to Watch" by The Sporting News and Area Top 100 players by Chicago Sun-Times and Chicago Tribune. Combined for 89 receptions for 1,576 yards (a 17.7 avg.), and 17 TDs over final two campaigns. As a junior, first-team All-NSC Lake Division, first team Waukegan News-Sun All-County, first team Daily Herald All-Area, and special mention Chicago Sun-Times All-Area. Grabbed 50 passes for 778 yards for a 15.6 average, and eight TDs. Four-time football letterwinner and earned three letters in basketball. Named first team All-NSC, and first team all-area, third team Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Class AA All-State, honorable mention Associated Press Class AA All-State, Chicago Tribune special mention All-State and Chicago Sun-Times All-State as a senior. Averaged 14 points per game and tallied a career-high 41 points in one game as a senior.
