2007: One of 10 defensive players to appear in all 12 games. Reserve defensive back and special teams member totaled 14 tackles and was in on a sack. Registered three tackles in his collegiate debut, the season-opener vs. Iowa (9-1). Credited with two tackles against Southern Illinois (9-8). Also made two tackles against Eastern Michigan (9-15) and at Toledo (10-27). Had one tackle and one-half sack vs. Western Michigan (10-13).

2006: Sat out after transferring from Valparaiso University.

Valparaiso: Redshirted in 2005.

High School: Team captain, first team All-Chicago Catholic League, and second team all-area as senior. Racked up 65 tackles, two sacks, two forced fumbles, two pass deflections and one fumble recovery during senior year. Second team all-conference after totaling 46 tackles, four pass deflections and one interception as junior. Made 27 tackles, two interceptions, and one sack as sophomore.

Personal: Born Jan. 24, 1987 in Monterey, Calif. Physical Education major and Health Education minor. Posted perfect 4.0 GPA through 2007 Spring semester. Parents are Anthony and Loria Mason.
