Former players and coaches met at FontaineBleau as well. 2011: Saw action in all 14 games of the season as the team's long snapper. Snapped on all 62 Huskie punt attempts, 28 field goals and 66 PAT attempts for 156 total. 2010: Redshirted his first season with the Huskies. High School: Played tight end and long snapper for Carl Sandburg High School, participating in 21 games over his final two seasons. Recorded 10 catches for 120 yards and one touchdown, and made 27 tackles during his senior season while playing in 11 games. Helped the team go 6-3 during the regular season and advance to the second round of the playoffs his senior season. As a junior, the team went 7-2 and advanced to the playoffs. Made 10 tackles his junior season and caught a pass his sophomore year. Personal: Born April 30, 1992 in Palos Heights, Ill. Son of Cindy and Tom Mayer. Intends to major in sociology. |
