2007: Appeared in 11 games on the offensive line. Started the first four games of the season at left guard. Part of the offensive line that led the way for Justin Anderson to record the ninth-straight 1,000-yard rushing season by a Huskie tailback. Graded out at a season-best 78 percent vs. Eastern Michigan (9-15). Recorded a 75 percent grade and was on the field for all 71 offensive plays vs. Southern Illinois (9-8). Saw action for 53 plays against both Eastern Michigan (9-15) and Idaho (9-22). Graded at 70 percent in the Idaho game. Also played on the PAT/FG unit.
2006: Saw action in final 10 games as reserve offensive lineman and on PAT blocking unit. Made collegiate debut with 17 plays on line vs. Indiana State (9-23). Saw action on the o-line in six plays against Temple (10-21). Played on line for three plays at Eastern Michigan (11-24). Blocker on PAT attempt vs. TCU in the Poinsettia Bowl (12-19).
High School: Named team captain and Most Valuable Offensive Lineman, first team All-ESCC, special mention Chicago Sun-Times All-Area, and Special Mention Chicago Tribune All-State on 9-2 league runner-up and Class 7A playoff qualifier as a senior. Three-year offensive line MVP and two-time All-East Suburban Catholic Conference selection. Did not allow a sack in three varsity seasons. Led team with 119 "pancake blocks" in final campaign. Entered senior year on preseason Chicago Sun-Times Top Area 100 Player and Chicago Tribune ESCC Player to Watch lists. First team All-ESCC and offensive line MVP as junior. Honor Roll student. Recruited by Kansas, Northwestern, Indiana, and Akron.
