2013: Has seen action in all 13 games...Recorded 29 tackles on the year...Leads the team and is eighth in the MAC in sacks with 5.5...Third on the team in tackles for loss with six...Made three tackles and forced a fumble at Iowa (8-31)...Recorded four tackles including a sack at Idaho (9-14)...Made two tackles and a sack at Purdue (9-28)...Recorded two tackles including a sack in versus Akron (10-12)...Tied his career-high with six tackles at UMass (11-2)...Registered a sack against Western Michigan (11-26)...Tallied three tackles including a sack in the MAC Championship game.

2012: Tallied 19 tackles in 13 games for the Huskies. Recorded a season-high four tackles, including three solo stops, at Akron (10-20). Made two tackles against Kansas (9-22). Added a forced fumble to his three-tackle performance at Ball State (10-6). Posted two tackles each against Western Michigan (10-27) and UMass (11-3). Recorded solo tackles against both Central Michigan (9-29) and Buffalo (10-13). Made one tackle, an assist, at Eastern Michigan (11-23).

2011: One of only four true freshmen, and the only one on the defensive side of the ball, to letter in 2011. Earned Freshman Defensive Player of the Year honors from the coaching staff. Played in all 14 games on special teams and as a reserve defensive end. Tallied 26 tackles, three for a loss, and recovered two fumbles. Made stops in 11 games, including the last nine of the season. Posted a career-high six tackles against Cal Poly (9-24). Recovered a fumble at the Kent State 30-yard line to set up an NIU field goal. Added three tackles and half a sack against the Golden Flashes. Had three tackles each against Army (9-3), Bowling Green (11-8) and Ohio (12-2). Recovered a fumble against Arkansas State (1-8). Recorded tackles for loss at Buffalo (10-22) and Bowling Green (11-8).

High School: Twice selected St. Louis Post-Dispatch Defensive Player of the Year. Also named Player of the Year for the Suburban South Conference and was a MaxPreps All-American his final two seasons. Earned all-state honors as a junior and a senior. Had a team-high 177 stops with 13 for loss, 10 sacks and five interceptions as a senior. Caught nine passes for 413 yards and five touchdowns. Made 145 tackles with 99 solo as a junior. Added four interceptions. Led Webster Groves to the Class 5 Missouri state championship as a junior and a runner-up finish as a senior. In the semifinal game, made 18 tackles with 12 solo, two quarterback sacks and an interception. Added an 84-yard touchdown catch in the win over Kirkwood. Served as a team captain his final two seasons. Starter at linebacker as a freshman. Also played basketball for the Statesmen and led his team in field goal percentage. A kung fu champion.
