Had three tackles each against Army (9-3), Bowling Green (11-8) and Ohio (12-2). Recovered a fumble against Arkansas State (1-8). Recorded tackles for loss in the Buffalo (10-22) and Bowling Green (11-8) games, totaling six yards. High School: Twice selected St. Louis Post-Dispatch Defensive Player of the Year. Also named Player of the Year for the Suburban South Conference and was a MaxPreps All-American his final two seasons. Earned all-state honors as a junior and a senior. Had a team-high 177 tackles with 13 for loss, 10 sacks and five interceptions as a senior. Also caught nine passes for 413 yards and five touchdowns. Made 145 tackles with 99 solo as a junior. Added four interceptions. Led Webster Groves to the Class 5 Missouri state championship as a junior and a runner-up finish as a senior. Served as a team captain his final two seasons. Never missed a game during his high school career. Starter at linebacker as a freshman.
