2011 MAC CHAMPIONSHIP

NIU captured its first MAC football championship since 1983, defeating Ohio, 23-20

Enters his junior season with 714 receiving yards and four touchdowns on 56 receptions, averaging 12.8 yards per catch. Played in 27 games with 13 starts. Has caught at least one pass in each of the Huskies' last 17 games dating back to the 2009 Ball State game (11-12).

2010: Played in all 14 games and made 11 starts at wide receiver in 2010. Ranked second on the team in receptions with 40, while finishing third in receiving yards (525) and receiving touchdowns (4). Caught at least one pass in every game and brought down at least two passes in 11 contests. Led NIU in receiving in six contests. Recorded a career-high 110 yards on four catches with two touchdowns, one for a career-long 69 yards, against Miami (Ohio) in the 2010 MAC Championship game (12-3). Scored the first two touchdowns of the MAC Championship game for Northern Illinois on long pass receptions, adding a 27-yard TD at the end of the first quarter. In the Humanitarian Bowl win over Fresno State, made four catches for 88 yards with a 39-yard grab. Caught a career-high six passes for 85 yards at Akron (10-2) highlighted by a 47-yard catch. Led the Huskies with four receptions for 21 yards at Iowa State (9-2). Scored his first career touchdown on a four-yard pass versus North Dakota (9-11). Made five catches for 45 yards against Illinois (9-18). Led NIU in receiving with three receptions for 24 yards and caught a 10-yard touchdown pass at the end of the first half at Minnesota (9-25). Had a game-high three receptions for 29 yards against Toledo (11-9). Recorded two catches for 27 yards versus Buffalo (10-16) and grabbed a pair of passes for 30 yards at Ball State (11-20).

2009: Saw action in 13 games, starting in two and catching passes in eight contests as a true freshman. Started the Wisconsin (9-5) and Toledo (10-17) games. Ranked fourth on the team with 189 yards on 16 catches. Totaled a career-high 61 yards on receptions of 26, 19, and 16 yards against Central Michigan (11-27). Recorded a season-high three grabs versus Idaho (9-26), Miami (10-24), and Central Michigan. Caught three passes for 23 yards in the Idaho game, and had a season-long 32-yard reception versus Western Illinois (9-12). Had one catch each in games against Wisconsin (9-5), Purdue (9-19), Toledo (10-17), Ohio (11-21), and South Florida (1-3).

High School: Earned all-state honors as a senior, recording 1,248 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns on 60 catches to average nearly 23 yards per catch. Named to San Antonio's 2008 Super Team and was a City All-Star. Earned all-conference honors three times with two first team nods and was named the Warriors' Offensive Player of the Year. Helped lead the Warriors to a district championship and three bi-district championships. Holds the school record for most receptions, yards and touchdowns in a season. As a junior, caught 26 passes for 493 yards, an 18.9 average, with seven touchdowns. Ran the ball three times for 138 yards (46.0 yards per carry) and two touchdowns. During his sophomore year, averaged 27.6 yards per catch with 13 receptions for 359 yards and three touchdowns. Compiled 2,100 yards on 99 career catches. Named Texas' Best Duo along with high school teammate and current NIU teammate Anthony Johnson. Also competed in track and field, where he won the district title in the 110-meter hurdles and finished second in the long jump as a junior. As a sophomore on the track, helped his team to the district championship and ran on the 4x200-meter relay team that placed third at regionals.

Personal: Born November 2, 1990 in San Antonio, Texas. Son of Tammi Moore and Terrance Hamilton. Father played football at Texas State and cousin Wayne McGarity played at Texas and for the Dallas Cowboys. Organizational communications major.
