The Huskies arrive in Miami

High School: First team all-state honoree by the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association and Associated Press following his senior year at Franklin High School. Named all-area and all-conference on offense and defense in 2011. Finalist for the Joe Thomas Award, given annually to the top senior offensive lineman in the state of Wisconsin. Also named the team's MVP following his senior season. Helped lead FHS to state playoff berths in 2009, 2010 and 2011; team advanced to the semifinals in 2009 and 2010. Earned first team all-Southeast Conference honors as a junior, helping the Sabers average 39 points per game en route to a conference championship. Ranked as the ninth-best recruit in Wisconsin by Rivals.com and the 10th-best in the state by ESPN. Second-best offensive lineman in the state by Wisconsin Sports Network.
