NIU defeats Iowa, 30-27

NIU rallied for a 30-27 victory over Iowa Saturday.

Disruptive force on the NIU D-line has made 54 tackles with 9.0 tackles for loss and 5.0 quarterback sacks (second on the team). Forced a WMU fumble while sacking the quarterback for the second-straight game. Leads NIU with three fumbles forced. Posted a season-best six tackles against Ohio. At UNLV, all five of his tackles were solo and added two tackles for loss and a sack. In on sacks at Ball State, at Eastern Michigan and vs. Kent State. Had a tackle for loss and broke up a pass versus Kent State. Also credited with a forced fumble vs. Miami. Has recorded a tackle for loss in 10 different games.


• Playing in every game as a member of the Huskies' defensive line rotation.
• Tied for third on the team in sacks with 4.0 and his eight tackles for loss ranked second on the Huskie team.
• Made 21 total tackles.
• Recorded a career-high six tackles, including three tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks at Idaho (9-14).
• Also forced and recovered a fumble against the Vandals.
• Credited with four tackles and a season-high two sacks against Eastern Illinois (9-21).
